Allwin Rex K

Allwin Rex K (also known as Andres De Rex K) is an Indian polymath, writer, and physics undergraduate from Samaria, Manapparai, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. A scholar of astrophysics and cosmology at St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Tiruchirappalli, his academic pursuits extend to dark matter, dark energy, the nature of time, and cosmic origins. His thesis on Earth-Directed Halo Coronal Mass Ejections was developed under the mentorship of scientists from the Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA) and the Kodaikanal Solar Observatory (KSO), where he gained hands-on research experience. In addition to his scientific work, Allwin is an accomplished author, having published books on science communication, cookery, and general knowledge, with ongoing projects in philosophy, psychology, and historical analysis. His literary works include 501 Random General Knowledge, 51 Italian Recipes Cookbook, and 23 Various Cake Recipes from European Countries, along with in-progress titles such as The Power Playbook, The Puppetmaster’s Code, and The Silent Crown. Beyond academia, he serves as Class Representative and Students’ Council Member for the Physics Department at St. Joseph’s College, and as Environmental Team Leader in the Shepherd Department. He is a member of AICUF, the Astronautic Institute, and Astro-Capsule, and volunteers as a NASA Citizen Scientist. An active science communicator, Allwin has delivered talks for All India Radio, produced science-focused podcasts (Story Time with Rex), and contributed articles to online platforms and magazines. His work blends science, art, education, and storytelling, aiming to make complex ideas accessible to the public. As an artist, photographer, and content creator, he balances his analytical mind with a creative spirit, embodying both tradition and forward-thinking vision.
